first is information in “The Benefits of Directory Submissions“, thought dead by some developers directory submissions are just another thing that should be added to a long list of SEO related optimizations, and link building techniques.
Since I’ve been in Taiwan its become obvious that yahoo is the main search provider here, unlike in America where Google is king. This has lead me to do more and more research into what people are saying about SEO techniques for the yahoo based search engine.
over all this is a great article with some interesting content, I cant say how much of it is fact and I take some with a grain of salt but, it is well said that you shouldn’t ignore the second most popular search engine, and thus should attempt to optimize for it too.
